How foolish men could be
When they assume that religion is an end in itself
And grow fanatical, killing and destroying
Without a clear idea of what lies ahead.
Religion isn’t God
And what purpose does it serve to kill and main
When upon death, religion ceases to be
Of any practical benefit to the fanatic!
How foolish man could be
What is religion after death?
What is life after death?
Why accord dignity to animals and mistreat man?
Fool set religion liken as life and death
And fanatics gloat and claim they are serving God
When they do disservice to humanity and hurt divinity
Leaving in their wake tears, sorrow and blood!
I pity brainwashed fanatics
Who have no clue of what true religion is
Who know not what lies ahead, upon death?
And the weight of judgment reserved for the wicked
When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not happen or come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken; the prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him.
